EUNIS
The European University Information Systems association ( EUNIS) cordially invites every Higher Education, Research Institution and Educational Organisation within Europe to become a Member of EUNIS in its own right.
What is EUNIS?
EUNIS was founded in 1993 with the following objectives:
- To encourage communication, collaboration and co-operation between those responsible for information systems in higher education and research institutions and organisations in Europe
- To liaise with the major suppliers in this field and represent the interests of higher education
- To liaise with organisations setting the strategic agenda for information systems in higher education and research at national and European level
There are active members in 22 European countries.
What does EUNIS do?
The main EUNIS activity is its annual conference. The tenth EUNIS Conference took place in Bled, near Ljubljana , Slovenia in June/July 2004. Previous conferences have been held in Düsseldorf, Manchester , Grenoble , Prague , Helsinki , Poznan , Berlin , Porto , and Amsterdam . Theses events are always very well attended, by up to 500 delegates from more than 30 countries. Immediately before each Conference EUNIS organises a day of seminars and tutorials which many delegates attend.
