{"id":992,"date":"2013-07-13T09:02:20","date_gmt":"2013-07-13T07:02:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eunis.org\/?p=992"},"modified":"2013-07-13T09:02:20","modified_gmt":"2013-07-13T07:02:20","slug":"eunis-2013-best-papers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eunis.org\/erai\/eunis-2013-best-papers\/","title":{"rendered":"EUNIS 2013 best papers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the EUNIS 2013 Congress &#8220;ICT Role for Next Generation Universities&#8221; there were three awards given, by three different juries, for the most interesting papers\/projects:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The EUNIS 2013 Elite Award was won by Samuel Martins, Hugo Ribeiro (University of Porto) and Rui Ribeiro, Nelson Dias (FCCN) for the: &#8220;Academic Video in the Portuguese High education Network: the EDUCast@fccn project&#8221; done jointly with FCCN Portugal.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eunis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/EUNIS_Elite_Award_2013_Educast-Porto.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1003\" src=\"http:\/\/eunis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/pdf.png\" alt=\"pdf\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>The Jens D\u00f8rup E-Learning Award won L\u00edgia Ribeiro, Maria Pinto, Pedro Neto, Andrea Vieira from University of Porto for &#8220;Learning spaces and students\u2019 entrepreneurship: the strategy for the successful implementation of an e-learning caf\u00e9 in campus U. Porto&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eunis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/LEARNING-SPACES-AND-STUDENTS-ENTREPRENEURSHIP.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1003\" src=\"http:\/\/eunis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/pdf.png\" alt=\"pdf\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>The Best Paper was awarded to Anne Sunikka from Aalto University for her presentation &#8220;From a Customer-Focused to a Customer-Centric University IT&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eunis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/From-a-Customer-Focused-to-a-Customer-Centric-University-IT.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1003\" src=\"http:\/\/eunis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/pdf.png\" alt=\"pdf\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Among the nominations to the Best Paper Award there were also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Designing a Large Scale Cooperative Sync&amp;Share Cloud Storage Platform for the Academic Community in Northrhine-Westfalia&#8221; by Raimund Vogl,\u00a0\u00a0 Holger Angenent, Rainer Bockholt, Dominik Rudolph, Stefan Stieglitz and Christian Meske<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Harnessing the power of Office 365 to provide a social learning environment through a new Student Portal&#8221; by Mauli Arora and Adrian Ellison\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/eunis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/harnessing.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-1003\" src=\"http:\/\/eunis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/pdf.png\" alt=\"pdf\" width=\"14\" height=\"14\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Transforming the students community into a social network&#8221;
