{"id":577,"date":"2013-11-20T16:22:00","date_gmt":"2013-11-20T15:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eunis.org\/eunis2014\/?page_id=577"},"modified":"2014-04-24T09:37:54","modified_gmt":"2014-04-24T07:37:54","slug":"eunis-elite-award","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eunis.org\/eunis2014\/eunis-elite-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Eunis Elite Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><b>2014 EUNIS Elite Award for excellence in implementing Information Systems for Higher Education<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The EUNIS Board of Directors is pleased to invite submissions for the 14th EUNIS Elite Award for Excellence.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Goal of the EUNIS Elite Award<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The main purpose of the EUNIS Elite Award is to recognize and promote best practice in some aspect of the use of information systems in higher education in Europe. The competition \u00a0will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>recognize excellence<\/li>\n<li>stimulate wider awareness and use of information systems in research, administration and community service in institutions<\/li>\n<li>encourage best practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submissions for the Award may come from any area related to information systems, including for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Portals<\/li>\n<li>Identity Management<\/li>\n<li>Administrative Information Systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Judging criteria<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The panel of judges needs to see evidence of successful implementation. Entries will score well if they clearly show some or all of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrable benefits to the target community<\/li>\n<li>Efficiency and productivity gains<\/li>\n<li>Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Imagination<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration<\/li>\n<li>High levels of technological integration<\/li>\n<li>Transferability to other organizations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Entries will not be restricted to in-house developments only. The winner of the Award will have an invited slot at the Congress.
