Informatics at M\u00fcnster University<\/strong><\/h2>

The University of M\u00fcnster unites a wide spectrum of informatics with the Institute of Informatics as the core department, surrounded by the faculties of Information Systems, Geoinformatics, Bioinformatics (including working groups on Computational Biology and Evolutionary Bioinformatics), Medical Informatics, Didactics of Informatic and the Institute for Information, Telecommunication and Media Law. The “Zentrum f\u00fcr Informationsverarbeitung”
<\/strong><\/h2>

The “Zentrum f\u00fcr Informationsverarbeitung” (ZIV) is the service and competence centre of M\u00fcnster University for IT-infrastructure, for communication and media technology, and for the transfer of media competence. The ZIV performs both centralised and decentralised services, including planning, installation, operating and support as well as service and maintenance.
