The Business Intelligence Special Interest Group (BI SIG) within EUNIS will provide 3 activities at the annual EUNIS conference which is online this year 9-12 June. Higher educational institutions in Europe are applying dashboards and data visualization more and more as a basis for decision making. We have invited BI SIG members to share their knowledge and experiences on doing dashboards and in two webinars we will get acquainted with educational dashboards and dashboards for management in different Universities. The webinars take place during the pre-conference day the 9 June.
During the EUNIS conference itself BI SIG will host a workshop on Next Practice in Making Dashboards for HEIs. Join the workshop and you will have the opportunity to meet other practitioners and researchers on the subject of making dashboards. Assistant Professor Elsa Cardoso from ISCTE- Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), in the Information Science and Technologies Department of the School of Technology and Architecture, will share her insights from many years of research on business intelligence, analytics and data visualization. By taking part in one or all of the activities organized by the BI SIG you will also have the opportunity to join the BI SIG hang out and have informal talks with other researchers and practitioners within the field of BI and analytics.
