Service Maturity – Are you ready for a cloud enabled future for your ERP?

Whether you are already implementing, currently working towards your transition or waiting to start your journey to cloud for your ERP, there is a key element which will help you to assure success – developing the maturity of your underlying business services. In these especially uncertain times, it’s never been more important to have an effective strategy and roadmap for your digital transformation. During this short session Tahir will take us through some personal learning from a couple of higher education institutions where he has led and is currently leading large scale ERP programmes.

Tahir is passionate about the role of IT as an enabler and the potential for individuals to bridge the technical divide and deliver cutting edge solutions while maintaining solid commercial outcomes. Having spent 20+ years in technology tackling ever larger problems and enabling innovation through the delivery of IT strategies, Tahir has been privileged to have taken part in and led the delivery of large scale cloud and compliance solutions across Higher Education, Telecoms and Banking Sectors for customers as broad as Heriot Watt University, Birmingham City University, British Telecom, BGC Partners and Bank of China.

According to a recent report, 90% of digital jobs available are outside technology companies. This session will explore why it is important for all students, why this is and how Oracle Academy can help your students.

Featured speaker: Iris Lanny – Programme Manager (UK, Ireland & Israel) for Oracle Education Initiatives

As part of the Oracle Global Citizenship programme Oracle have invested more than $3.75 billion in education initiatives.

Iris manages and develops the programme in the UK, Ireland and Israel. The programme sets out to connect and develop projects with Education authorities, educators, schools, colleges and universities, as well as with other interest groups and organisations who work in partnership to increase STEM interest in education.

Before joining Oracle more than six years ago Iris was an independent consultant supporting small and medium sized business start up and next stage growth. Several client/companies being technology companies who she helped become investor, strategically and operationally ready for business and or supported to next stage growth through company restructuring and skill development programmes.
