Plenary 4: How hybrid and virtual classrooms are transforming distance learning

In today’s environment, Higher education is facing a challenge. Sudden COVID19 situation is a factor creating greater pressure to deliver training online. Most institutes had to change overnight from campus based teaching to remote teaching. There is a growing trend towards instructor-led, virtual classrooms. But how can you use COVID19 as a catalyst for innovating your online learning programs? In this session, Ellen Van de Woestijne, Segment Director Learning Experience, will share with you how hybrid and virtual classrooms are changing the distance learning experience, by sharing how some of the higher education institutes we worked with transformed their learning program & choose a virtual classroom technology that enabled them to deliver an experience close to an in-classroom experience, while saving cost, supporting business changes & be more sustainable.
