Good charts make us smarter\u2014if we know how to read them. However, they can also deceive us. Many of us are ill-equipped to interpret the visuals that politicians, journalists, advertisers, and even our employers present each day. Alberto Cairo will demystify an essential new literacy, one that will make us better equipped to navigate our data-driven world, and will offer suggestions on how to make better decisions when designing visualizations.<\/p>\n<p>Alberto Cairo is a journalist with more than a decade of experience in news media, a designer, and a visualization consultant.
