This session consists of an invited presentation followed by a roundtable discussion (Digital Transformation 4).
2020 will go down as the year when higher education globally was forever transformed by a virus, not a computer virus but a human virus, Covid19. What higher education institutions thought was short-term shutdowns and closed campuses in 2020 has turned into major transformation for all of education. This presentation will look at LBCIO data and information that has been gathered during the past year. We will also report on the personal thoughts and insights of higher education CIOs concerning changes brought on by the pandemic of 2020 and plans for 2021 and beyond. We will highlight some of what we have learned, what has been difficult and what may lie ahead for higher education institutions.
