European Universities are transnational alliances that are leading the transformation of higher education institutions. They underpin the deeper level of cooperation in higher education across borders, disciplines and cultures needed to continue on the path of digital transformation in order to recover from the crisis and to build resilience. They are developing and deploying digital technologies, including AI technologies, for the education sector and equipping students across all levels and in all disciplines with digital and information literacy skills in contribution to a pan-European talent base for building a digital European Union.
This session consists of an invited presentation on the European Universities Initiative followed by a panel discussion involving university leaders involved in the pilot projects (Invited Speaker 7).
