A session for all interested in Business Intelligence and Analytics in Higher Education. The special period we have been living since the outbreak of Covid-19, has forced several universities to rethink how they are using their BI teams and what it means to support the core activities of the university.
The need for new models and restructuring of educational data has also been a necessity. BI, planning and analytics are prone to continuous process change and the case studies presented demonstrate this from different angles.
We offer case studies on remodelling of data to meet new needs of monitoring, predicting student progression and even new models of grading students as well as a demo of an automated workflow designed for financial management of research projects.
After these inspirational talks, we’re off to EUNIS island to enjoy some networking in round table discussions with these different topics:
- Setting up a BI team in your institution – hosted by Gry Jordet Kibsgaard
- Doing predictive analytics – hosted by Annette Ysland Ludvigsen
- Storytelling as method in Data Warehouse modelling – hosted by Elsa Cardoso, Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology, University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL)
- How did Covid-19 impact your BI team – hosted by Bene Lamote
