ELMO is an implementation of the European (CEN) standards ELM-AI (European Learner Mobility \u2013 Achievement Information, EN 15981) and MLO (Metadata for Learning Objects, EN 15982). It is an XML-based format and latest version contains courses, diplomas, Microcredentials etc. It is used by for instance Erasmus Without paper and EMREX. ELMO is public domain and the entire description is available in Github (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/emrex-eu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/github.com\/emrex-eu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At a meeting in November 2021 the EMREX network opened up for starting a process for making extensions and alterations to the ELMO-schema. A staring workshop was held in December 2021 with the goal to continue and have a final workshop in summer. This workshop will discuss changes in detail and make decisions of incorporation in the standard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop objectives are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to give all current and future stakeholders opportunity to suggest changes in the format,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to inform participants about suggested changes in the ELMO-format,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to discuss when changes should be included and to what extent they should be mandatory<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to decide upon changes of the format.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Who should attend: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">people working on digitizing student processes, especially student mobility, transcripts, certificates<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The workshop is organized in joint collaboration of the <a href=\"https:\/\/emrex.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EMREX network<\/a>,<br \/>\nthe <a href=\"https:\/\/pim-plattform.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Platform for International Student Mobility<\/a> and<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-goettingen.de\/livesciences3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">liveSciences\u00b3<\/a> project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to book:<\/strong> This workshop is offered free of charge. You do not have to be a registered Congress delegate to attend.
