How to learn and teach in the Metaverse."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Explore a virtual space and meet your peers interested in teaching and learning with virtual reality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is the only one of our pre-Congress sessions to offer virtual participation. <strong>Please ensure you make the correct selection in the booking form to let us know whether you will be attending on site or virtually.\u00a0 <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On-site participants need to bring their laptop and \/ or VR headset.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a short introduction, you will enter a virtual space for the workshop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hardware requirement:\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/engagevr.io\/supported-devices\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">engagevr.io\/supported-devices\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting can be joined without a headset using the 3D feature of the Engage software:\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/engagevr.io\/download-steps\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">engagevr.io\/download-steps\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basic tutorial for using the software:\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/engagevr.io\/tutorials\/basic-tutorials\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">engagevr.io\/tutorials\/basic-tutorials\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The VR session is limited to 12 participants in presence and 40 persons connected online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The session will be facilitated by Thierry Koscielniak, leader of EUNIS AR\/VR SIG, member of EUNIS 2022 scientific committee and EUNIS board member<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Who should attend: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anyone interested in using this kind of technology in teaching practice<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Why attend: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">explore the technology and discuss with peers<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to book:<\/strong> this workshop is offered free of charge. You do not have to be a registered Congress delegate to attend.
