This paper (presentation) is to follow up on the introduction to “capability mapping as relationship builder “ described in the paper “Creating strategic and operational insight for management by using a Higher Education Capability model” Since the launch of the HERM version 2.6.0 (2021) Aalto has systematically implemented the principle of relationship building through capabilities. Our presentation is to demonstrate the usability and value of a holistic mapping of capabilities from the motivation layer (strategy) throughout to the system and implementation layer
