wwWallet.org A Cloud based non-custodial Digital Identity Wallet #99
Developed through a collaborative effort by GUnet, Sunet, and Yubico, wwWallet introduces an innovative approach for Verifiable Credentials management. As an opensource, web-based platform, it moves beyond the limitations of mobile devices, while also leveraging a non-custodial approach for the control of users’ cryptographic keys.
The decentralized Root of Trust is a key feature of wwWallet’s design, enhancing both the security and privacy of user data. Aligned with the current version of the European Digital Identity Architecture and Reference Framework, wwWallet will continue to adapt to evolving ARF standards over time, ensuring its sustained relevance, compliance and interoperability in the digital identity landscape.

eduTAP – bridging online identity to mobile credentials for reliable and trustworthy on-site service access #62
eduTAP is a proposal for fulfilling the vision of the European Student Card, solving the interoperability and legal issues heads first. By a change of perspective, following the digitalization 3.0 approach for a user / consumer-centric-optimization together with the divide-and-conquer approach, eduTAP allow all members in the higher education sector to easily gain access to services at their home institution and while on mobility. By splitting integrated campus cards into separated service passes for each specific service at a service provider, respecting the technology requirements of the existing system in use, and a common identity pass, reflecting the common LDAP schema attributes used in eduGAIN (e.g. eduPerson and SCHAC) as a verifiable credential following the ISO/IEC 18013-5 standard.
Members of the educational community will be able to select and load individual service passes, discoverable through a centralized Service Discovery Portal, to gain access to on-site services, like library access, closed loop payment, physical access control. All required user data will follow the federation schema, and there will be no central database for user data, or necessary online verification of status or entitlements.
