Its primary purpose is to educate and inspire learning, it is notable that the economic impact associated with our activities is estimated to be \u00a31.3 billion annually. It is one of the most complex large institutions within the UK, successfully maintaining a dual focus on research and teaching while actively driving exemplary social mobility and civic engagement. The university spans a region of great potential and great passion with campus in Belfast, Coleraine and Derry~Londonderry. In May 2024, Ulster University hit the top spot in StudentCrowd\u2019s Best UK Universities, as voted for by its own students.
