The\u00a0West University of Timi\u0219oara (UVT)<\/b>, an EUNIS member since 2024, is a public higher education institution. It is\u00a0 recognised by the Romanian Ministry of National Education as an interdisciplinary and innovative institution, as well as a component institution of the National Research\u2013Development\u2013Innovation System in its capacity as an accredited higher education institution.<\/p>\n
The West University of Timi\u0219soara<\/a> comprises 11 faculties with the respective departments, as well as a teacher training department. The faculties that operate within UVT offer nationally accredited study programs at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral level in the following fields: Arts and Design; Chemistry, Biology, Geography; Economics and Business Administration; Law; Letters, History and Theology; Mathematics and Computer Science; Music and Theater; Physical Education and Sports; Physics; Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences; Sociology and Psychology.<\/p>\n The spirit of the Western University of Timi\u0219oara is one of performance and excellence, as a gradual and permanent result of the effort to be better.
