Welcome

Invitation to Participate in the EUNIS 2027 Congress

We are delighted to invite you to the EUNIS 2027 Congress, hosted by the Riga Stradins University, Riga, Latvia, from 1–3 June 2027, with an inspiring pre-Congress workshops day planned on 31 May 2027.

Set in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Riga, the EUNIS27 Congress, held under the theme: Building the University of Tomorrow: Human-Centred, Smart and Secure, brings together the brightest minds shaping the digital future of higher education.

Riga Stradiņš University’s motto, Science for healthy societies, inspires the theme of EUNIS27. Just as health sciences use evidence to improve lives, digital transformation should put people first, use data and AI responsibly, and build the trust and resilience needed to thrive. By creating healthier digital ecosystems, universities can strengthen not only learning, research and wellbeing, but also the societies they serve.

At EUNIS27 in Riga, we invite IT leaders, practitioners and academics from across Europe to explore how digital innovation can make higher education institutions healthier ecosystems in their own right, and in doing so, help build healthier, more resilient societies.
