28/04/2018 – Visiting Porto, Panoramic tour
2.30 pm – Departure from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto
Half Day Tour (max. 4 hours)
The group will start with a panoramic tour towards Boavista and Foz, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Douro river.
At Boavista, a stop at Casa da Música will allow you to explore this contemporary building and its modern architecture.
Near Foz, there is some time to have a drink and take some photos on the privileged Porto seafront.
Then the group will proceed to Ribeira Square and as it arrives at the historic city centre, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, you will explore the main highlights of the city with all its impressive and architectonic diversified monuments and buildings.

28/04/2018 – Visiting Braga and Guimarães
2.30 pm – Departure from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto
Half Day Tour (max. 4 hours)
Departure from FCUP, heading towards Guimarães.
At Guimarães, a UNESCO site, you will have your first stop. The city has a pleasant and well-preserved heritage, where the castle, as well as its medieval streets stands out. Visit to the Castle and “Paço dos Duques” is scheduled to take 1h30. The tour continues to Braga.
Visit to its main attraction – the impressive Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, built on a hill with an incredible ancient baroque staircase plenty of fountains, meditation stops and statues. It is possible to reach Bom Jesus using the first funicular built in the Iberian Peninsula, currently the oldest in the world still in service, that uses water counterbalance system.
