Christos Papatheodorou
Christos Papatheodorou is a Professor of Information Systems for Libraries and Archives at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Athens, Greece and a fellow researcher in the Digital Curation Department, Institute for the Management of Information Systems, "Athena" Research Centre, Athens, Greece. His research interests include digital humanities, digital curation and preservation, evaluation of digital libraries and information services, metadata interoperability, e-Science/Open Science, e-records management and personalisation. He is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Metadata, Semantics and Ontologies; he is a member of the Steering Committee of the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries (TPDL) and he was the Chairman of the Committee in 2012 - 2015. He has participated as evaluator and researcher in several international R7D projects, and as chair or programme committee member in international conferences.
