Alejandro Ortega-Arranz
Alejandro Ortega-Arranz received his Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from Universidad de Valladolid (Spain), in 2021. Currently, he is Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department of the University of Valladolid (Spain), and an active member of the GSIC-EMIC Research Group. GSIC-EMIC aims at improving the teaching and learning educational processes scientifically, and Alejandro’s main research interests include ubiquitous, hybrid, and game-based learning, targeting both educators (how can technology support the design, implementation, and enactment of such educational approaches), and students (which are the derived perceptions and effects of using such educational approaches). He has been involved in various projects with European, national, and regional funding. He is also member of the European Association of Technology-Enhanced Learning, being Poster & Demo Chair or Doctoral Consortium Chair in the last four European Conferences on Technology-Enhanced Learning.
