Sonja Sipponen
Sonja Sipponen works as a development manager at CSC – IT Center for Science in Finland. She focuses on research information and research data management and her main tasks are with developing the Finnish research information hub, Research.fi, where she has been involved in developing new functionalities and incorporating new types of data and information sources to the hub in close collaboration with the Finnish Association of Research Managers and Administrators (Finn-ARMA). Sipponen also facilitates creating the national reference architecture on research data management in Finland in close collaboration with Finnish research organisations. For the past years she has been participating in several national working groups aiming to promote the use of persistent identifiers in research information and to promote benefits of FAIR principles and well managed research data.
