Konstantinos Tsimpanis is a Senior IT Manager at the University of Athens (NKUA) and the Greek Universities Network (GUnet), where he oversees e-learning services. He is also an active researcher in the field of e-learning strategies and technologies in higher education, contributing to Greece’s broader digital transformation efforts in the academic sector. With extensive experience as a technical project manager, he has led and participated in numerous collaborative initiatives with universities and research institutes. He is the founder and lead developer of the Open eClass Platform (www.openeclass.org), a widely used open-source learning management system.
