
Uwe Dierolf is the Head of IT at the KIT Library, where he has been leading digital innovations for over 30 years. His expertise lies in web applications, library systems, and AI-driven solutions. In 1996, he and his team developed a library management system, later transitioning to Koha in 2023. He also manages the Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog (KVK), one of the most well-known meta-search engines for library resources. Recently, he has been exploring AI’s role in libraries and information management, sharing his insights at conferences and workshops.
