Paul Towers
Paul is an Educational Developer in the College of Learning and Teaching at the University of Wolverhampton.
Paul completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Post Compulsory Education (PG Cert-PCE) at the University of Wolverhampton after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. He started teaching a foundation degree in Fine Art and then worked as a consultant for the PG Cert-PCE course. During 13 years at the University of Wolverhampton he has been awarded a Master’s in Education: Learning in a Digital Age, has achieved Certified Membership of the Association of Learning Technology (CMALT) and has been recognised as a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
He was one of the leads on the VLE project which procured Canvas and is responsible for developing training and supporting the cultural change elements of Canvas, as well as disseminating effective practice. He is a ‘Canvas Advocate’ and is passionate about using Canvas and other technologies to support the pedagogical development of academic staff and students.
