Ena Voûte, TU Delft Ena Voûte, TU Delft Pro Vice Rector International Affairs Delft University of Technology
Since March 2022, Ena Voûte has assumed the role of Pro Vice Rector for International Affairs at TU Delft. This new responsibility arrived at a critical juncture in the University’s swiftly evolving international landscape of the university, accompanied by the unique challenges it presents. Before taking up this position, Ena spent a decade as the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, which holds a special place in her heart as her Alma Mater. Alongside her deanship, she made significant contributions to the Dutch Design Field and played pivotal roles in numerous university-wide initiatives, spanning research, human resources, the Recognition and Rewards program, digitization projects and the development of our campus infrastructure. Before embarking on her academic journey, Ena dedicated 25 years to the corporate world, where she held key marketing, innovation, and leadership roles at renowned companies like Unilever and Philips, serving in various capacities across European countries and global divisions. During her tenure, she was entrusted with the stewardship of iconic brands such as Magnum, Becel, and Lipton. Moreover, she played a pivotal role in advancing Philips' Personal Care and Special Lighting businesses. Her diverse career also encompassed invaluable experiences gained at a startup named Independer and as a consultant at Altuïtion. Throughout her multifaceted career, Ena consistently demonstrated her design acumen. Her expertise transcended traditional boundaries, encompassing not only product and service design but also the art of sculpting teams, designing organizations, and charting strategic courses. Her ability to navigate intricate contexts and complexity, to think holistically, and most notably, infuse forward looking creativity into her endeavors has left an enduring impact in every role she has undertaken.
