Thierry Koscielniak
Dr. Thierry Koscielniak is a distinguished professional recognized for his contributions to the digital landscape of higher education in France. He currently serves as Executive Advisor in Digital Strategy & Educational Innovation at Arts et Métiers Institute of Technology - ENSAM in Paris.
He is presently involved in the scientific committee of the project JENII to design Immersive and Interactive Digital Twins for
Teaching.
As "Monsieur Métaversité" he frequently shares insights on the convergence of digital technology and education, focusing on extended reality (XR) and other innovative educational technologies.
Koscielniak is vice-president of the European University Information Systems organisation (EUNIS). Within EUNIS, he is particularly esteemed for his leadership in augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), fields that are redefining the boundaries of educational technology and pedagogy.
Appointed expert for both DG CNECT's EU critical digital technologies studies and the European Digital Education Hub.
He obtained his PhD in computational chemistry at Sorbonne University - Paris.
