Head of Education Unit, Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences, Krems (Austria) Dr Michael Schmidts is a physician-educator and Master of Medical Education who leads the Education Unit at Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences. Drawing on more than 25 years in medical education, he designs learner-centred curricula, oversees university-wide assessment systems and steers faculty development initiatives.
