Session II: Digital Leadership and the involvement of the people

The biggest key in achieving the digital transformation of a university is that the Rector/President and his/her Government team become the leaders of this initiative. Only strong leadership that understands the strategic importance of IT and how to use them to achieve university goals can achieve the digital transformation success. The existence of a CIO that drives IT governance and appropriate decision-making structures will complete the leadership. Although the really important thing is to get everyone at the university involved.
