Antoni González Senmartï Executive Secretary of CRUE for Open Science Degree in Classical Philology and PhD in Greek Philology from the University of Barcelona. Professor of Greek Philology for almost 50 years, first at the University of Barcelona and, later, at the University Rovira i Virgili. Involved in university management, he has held the positions of Dean, Vice Chancellor, General Secretary and Delegate of the Rector of Institutional Relations of the Rovira i Virgili University. He was responsible for eighteen years of the libraries of the Rovira i Virgili University, which he transformed into a Resource Center for Learning and Research (CRAI), and became president of the Consortium of University Libraries of Catalonia (CBUC). On behalf of REBIUN, he presented the paper "University Libraries for the 21st Century" at the Liber Annual Conference in Toulouse in 2009. He is currently linked to the Executive Secretary of CRUE for Open Science issues; Negotiations with scientific publishers and relations with the Ministry of Science and Innovation and FECyT in these areas. Together with Dr. Francisco José Mora, he is the author of the Crue Spanish Universities article on the Open Science challenge, published in RUIDERAe: Journal of Information Units, in 2019.
