Programme: Security track

Privacy, security, hackers and espionage are some of the issues we now have to deal with in everyday life. Freezers, refrigerators, smart TVs and much more is connected to the internet and the vulnerability and risk for attacks is getting bigger and more complex. Many services consist of many different libraries that are often not updated which increases the risk even further.
There is a need to sensitize users of applications in security to a much greater extent than before. Many people use the same passwords, or variations of them, in several different applications. There are many good practices for storing, sending and resetting passwords, but there are still challenges that can not be solved through technical measures, they must be resolved by people, and not just developers.

We are proud to have obtained security experts who will talk about these issues and that will give us a better understanding of the challenges we face today

He is the founder & main organizer of PasswordsCon, the first & only international conference on passwords. Internationally recognized for his work, he has been interviewed and quoted all around the world for his in-depth knowledge into our perceptions and reality of passwords. He is certified CISA, CISM and CISSP-ISSAP, he serves as a subject matter expert for (ISC)2 on the development of the ISSAP credential, and he runs the CISM training in Norway for the third consecutive year in 2014. He was a finalist for The Norwegian Computer Society Rosing IT Security award in 2012.[/tw_sh_column_item]
