Katharina Engel
Katharina Engel is Senior Desk Officer for digital internationalisation and European higher education policy at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Her main responsibility is coordinating the work of the Policy Cluster in the Erasmus+ Key Action 3 project “OpenU”. Before joining the DAAD in 2019, she was a lecturer in English Literatures and Cultures at the University of Bonn, published research and spoke at conferences about contemporary performance poetry. She also worked as dramaturge for several theatre productions in Germany and abroad, and was assistant to the manager of the biggest poetry festival in the UK.
