ChatGPT will not be the end of education. The end of education will come if we keep an education model that remains largely in the nineteenth-century.
Paradoxically, in a world of increasingly intelligent machines, we continue to insist on a highly mechanised education. We are 20th century teachers, in 19th century classrooms, with 21st century students.
Our Society as a collective, and we ourselves individually, must learn at least as fast as our environment changes, or we will be left behind. Artificial Intelligence is an accelerator of such changes, but it can also be, if used to learn more, better and faster, part of the solution.
