Requirements for Presentations

Congress venue

EUNIS 2013 Riga Congress will be held at the International Exhibition Center BT1 which is situated within Riga Technical University Campus.

Full service International Exhibition Center BT1 organizes high-level international and national exhibitions, forums and fairs, as well as has been participating as a co-organizer in different events held by its cooperation partners. This venue serves best the needs of EUNIS 2013 Congress, because of highly professional and responsible attitude to work, experience accumulated through years that allowed BT 1 to take the leading position among Latvian and Baltic exhibition organizers.

Poster presentations

Traditionally at EUNIS Congress all participants are encouraged to present a poster.

Posters will be on display for the entire Congress period and provide participants an excellent opportunity for networking. As with the session discussions, the poster session will be conducted off the record to encourage frank discussion and presentation of unconfirmed or partial results.

Exhibition

During the Congress Exhibition will take place where the leading Information Technology companies will display their solutions for Higher Education Institutions.

Participation at the Exhibition is a great opportunity to meet the Higher Education Institution professionals from all around Europe and introduce them with new IT services and products.

Social program

EUNIS 2013 Riga Congress will offer wide range of social events, which offer the possibility to communicate in more in-formal atmosphere and find new partners and customers. Award Ceremony

Each Year at EUNIS Congress Award Ceremony takes place through which three awards are presented:

The Congress Best Paper Award - The host institution organizes the award and a judging panel, which consisting of 3-5 members, selects the winner.

The EUNIS Elite Award for Excellence - This award is organized by the EUNIS Executive Secretary, who will make a separate call for submissions for the award through the EUNIS website. The award is an honorary award.

The EUNIS Dørup E-learning Award - This award is organized by a sub-group of the EUNIS E-learning Task Force led by a person appointed by the Board.
