Your tour will feature a knowledgeable tour guide and comfortable transportation. During the first part of the excursion you will learn what Art Nouveau (New Art) or Jugendstil really means. You will see decorative Art Nouveau and national - romantic Art Nouveau buildings in one of the most exclusive and historic parts of Riga.
2nd part of the excursion is a walking tour of Old Riga where you will see: The Black Heads House and Latvian National Opera House, The Dome Cathedral – the largest place of worship in the Baltics which has one of the biggest organ in Europe, The Riga Castle – currently the official residence of the President of Latvia, The Powder Tower and Swedish gate - remnants of the defensive system of the old city, The Freedom Monument – national symbol of the freedom of Latvia. As you walk you will also see the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia, Latvian Parliament building, St. Peter’s Church, The Three Brothers, Convent Square and many other cultural heritage objects.

Rundale Palace
Duration: 5 hours

Astonishing Rundale Palace is located in Pilsrundale, about 70 km South of Riga city and about 15 km West of Bauska town. The glorious ensemble consists of Baroque and Rococo styles Rundale Palace and a large picturesque garden. One of the most beautiful baroque palace – Rundale Palace - in Latvia was built in 1736-1740 as a summer residence for the Duke of Courland, Ernst Johann Biron. The palace was designed by outstanding Italian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli, the creator of the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg. Crystal chandeliers, silk wallpaper, rich stucco molding, sculptures, luxurious tiled fireplaces, mirrors, elegant galleries and refined colors and frescos were made by Italian artists Francesco Martini and Carlo Zucci.

Birch sap world

Floating reception on the Mecklenburg
The Mecklenburg can accommodate as many as 400 guests for large-scale banquets, concerts, presentations, seminars and we have reserved it for a floating reception and water-side tour of Riga. The ship has a restaurant and bar with 240 seats. While travelling on Latvia‘s biggest river Daugava you will go under all of Riga’s major bridges – Cable Bridge, Railway Bridge, Stone Bridge down to the South Bridge. While on board of you will have memorable (and photogenic!) views of the heart of the city – Old Town, from a totally different perspective.
