José Manuel Claver
José M. Claver received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Valencia (UV), Spain, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. He is Professor of Computer Architecture and Technology at the University of Valencia, previously Associate Professor at the universities of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) and Jaume I of Castellón (Spain) and belongs to the Department of Computer Science.
He has been Head of Department at three Universities, Dean and Vice Dean, and coordinator of different Computer Science Degrees. He is the current Delegate of the Rector of the Digital University of the UV, coordinator of the node of the Spanish Network of Supercomputing UV-Tirant and member of the Executive Committee of the CRUE-Digitalization (section of the CRUE Spanish Universities) where he acts as coordinator of the Group of Analysis and Indicators work, coordinating the UNIVERSITIC 2022 report. His research interests are primarily in parallel and distributed computing, networking, edge/cloud computing applications, educational methodologies, and IT governance
