EUA is carrying out an online survey on e-learning among its members and other higher education institutions. The purpose of the survey is to find out more about the capacities of European higher education institutions for e-learning and assess their perceptions regarding the changes and their impact on learning and teaching in general. The second part of the survey is dedicated to the topic of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), given that relatively little information exists on their growth in Europe.
Please follow this link to the Survey:

The data collected through the survey, which is anonymous, will be published in a study to provide information to our members, and also feed into the European higher education policy debate on technology-enhanced education and e-learning. This includes the discussion on the innovation of learning and teaching in the context of the EU Modernisation Agenda, the recently launched European Commission Communication on “Opening up education” (September 2013) and the Bologna Process, to which EUA contributes actively.
EUA will also use the results to devise measures for supporting and networking higher education institutions interested in the matter. The issue will be addressed in the framework of our upcoming Annual Conference at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels on 3-4 April 2014, which we hope you can join.
The survey should be completed and submitted by 18 November 2013.
If your institution does not offer e-learning and you therefore do not wish to take the survey, we would appreciate a short notifying email to HEPU-surveys@eua.be.
For any questions or if you wish to receive a copy of the survey, please contact HEPU-surveys@eua.be.
