It is always a great pleasure to recognise and honour excellence via the EUNIS awards. This year was no exception and we had some outstanding winners!
- Elite Award for the best practice of the use of information systems in HE went to: Valérie Le Strat (AMUE, France), Patrik Maltusch (Aalto University, Finland), Esa Suominen (University of Helsinki, Finland), Lluís Alfons Ariño Martín (Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Spain) for the paper Using enterprise architecture and capability models in higher education: case studies from the EUNIS community.
- Best Paper Award was grated to Ziwei Huang (Feedback Fruits, the Netherlands) and Wilco te Winke (Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands) for Automated Feedback: An AI-powered Tool to Scale Micro-level Feedback for Better Academic Writing.
- EUNIS Award for AV-enabled Classroom Educational Space went to Kim Dekeyser (imec research group at KU Leuven, Belgium) and Charlotte Vanroelen ( imec research group at University of Ghent, Belgium) for A digital twin of the medical simulation lab to improve communication skills of medical doctors. Simulation training in Virtual Reality.
- EUNIS 2022 Winner Best Overall AV-enabled Education Space and EUNIS Award for AV-enabled Non-Classroom Educational Space was handed to the Greek team: Georgios Roussos, Dimos Charidimou ,Vasiliki Kalfa, Anastasios Petalotis, Angeliki Agorogianni from the IT Center – Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece for the paper Deliver knowledge in a Digital World: Successfully Livestream In-Person, Virtual or Hybrid large-scale educational events – Challenges and best practices.
