We are excited to announce the formation of the EUNIS AI4ALL Special Interest Group focused on Inclusion & Sustainability in Artificial Intelligence. The group plans to address the pressing challenges surrounding the equitable and responsible development of AI technologies. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, we seek to promote a future where AI benefits everyone, fostering both inclusivity and sustainability.
EUNIS AI4ALL Special InterestI Group aims to:
- explore and elucidate the deep connections between inclusion, sustainability and the future of AI
- raise awareness about the need of ‘AI for All’ focusing on inclusion and sustainability challenges
- encourage private and public organisations to prioritize inclusion and sustainability in their AI development, regulations and applications.
Leaders of the AI4ALL SIG are Giuliano Pozza (CIO at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan, Italy) and Bonaria Biancu (Head of Software and Applications, ICT Department, University of Milano-Bicocca, Milan, Italy).
