Kristina Lillemets, University of Tartu, Estonia
Kristina Lillemets has been Chief Digital Officer at the University of Tartu since November 2020. Prior to that, she held positions as Director of Infrastructure at the Estonian national research and education network EENet and Operations Director of Baltics at Linxtelecom Estonia (a Dutch company Linx Telecommunications BV subsidiary). Kristina also has experience in the banking sector, having worked at Swedbank as a IT project manager and as an business analyst in financial leasing.
Kristina has served as a member of the GÉANT (a pan-European association of data communication networks for science and education) Board of Directors from 2019 to 2022 and has represented Estonia in the sustainability working group of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), the European network infrastructure (EGI) and the e-infrastructure analysis group e-IRG. represented Estonia in various European working groups.
