Short bio
Andreas holds a Physics degree from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität (Erlangen, Germany). His professional career began in IT consulting (ITSM, DWH/BI), before joining the University of Bern over ten years ago, where he was able to establish and expand Application Integration and Enterprise Architecture. Currently he is the Deputy CIO and head of the Strategy, Governance & Portfolio.
His passion is making complex data and processes clear and manageable. His focus is on reducing redundancies and applying management principles to create added value for research and teaching.
