The EUNIS 2026 General Assembly elected the members of the EUNIS Board of Directors 2026/27 during the hybrid meeting held on the 4th of June 2026 at the EUNIS26 Congress held at West University of Timisoara, Romania.
The new members to the Board are: Ilja Afanasjevs (Higher Education and Science Information Technology Shared Service Centre, Latvia), Laurent Flory (Groupe Logiciel – Cellule Nationale Logicielle, French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, France), Andreas Herceg (University of Bern, Switzerland), Giuliano Pozza, (Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy), and the re-elected member is Carmen Diaz (SIGMA, Spain) Carmen Díaz Romero, (SIGMA AIE, Spain).
The 2026 GA was followed by the internal elections within the Board for the Board officers:
- EUNIS President – Ms. Evelien Renders, SURF, the Netherlands
- EUNIS Vice-President – Ms. Carmen Diaz, SIGMA, Spain
- EUNIS Vice-President – Ms. Isabel Gallin, Karlsruhe Institute for Technology, Germany
- EUNIS Vice-President – Mr. Paul Greenway, EduCampus, Ireland
- EUNIS Treasurer – Mrs. Angeliki Agorogianni, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece
- EUNIS Secretary – Mr. Laurent Flory (Groupe Logiciel – Cellule Nationale Logicielle, French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, France)
- EUNIS Vice-Secretary – Mr. Frédéric Habert (Nantes University, France)
