Lluís Alfons Ariño is stepping down from the EUNIS Board of Directors following a change in his role at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), where he is returning to his position as Deputy CIO.

EUNIS warmly thanks Lluís for his contributions to the community, particularly in areas such as digital credentials, interoperability and digital sovereignty in education. He will remain active in EUNIS through the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and future events.

A note from Lluís Alfons Ariño:

“Following a change in my role at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, where I am returning to my position as Deputy CIO, I am stepping down from the EUNIS Board. I would like to thank Evelien, my fellow Board members and the Support Team for their trust and for everything we have shared.

EUNIS has been, for me, a place to learn from colleagues across Europe and to connect our daily work with the wider European picture: digital credentials, interoperability, data and, more recently, digital sovereignty in education.

This is not a goodbye: I will remain an active member of the community through the SIGs, and I look forward to seeing many of you at future congresses and events.”

EUNIS thanks Lluís for his valuable commitment to the Board and looks forward to continuing the collaboration within the wider EUNIS community.
