Open Science (OS) promotes transparency, accessibility, and collaboration in research. By making methodologies, data, and findings openly available, OS enhances the quality and integrity of research, boosts reproducibility and discoverability, and helps reduce the risk of scientific misconduct.
For university networks like EUNIS, Open Science is more than a catalyst for collaboration and research excellence—it’s also a cornerstone of digital transformation. It strengthens research partnerships through data and resource sharing across institutions, increases the visibility and impact of research outputs, and fosters a culture rooted in openness, integrity, and cooperation.
This is the driving force behind the launch of the Open Science Special Interest Group!
